Reason for Running:
Running the Boston Marathon has been one of my lifelong dreams. I am a physician at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates, an Atrius Health member group. When I heard that the Atrius Health Foundation had once again been selected by John Hancock as an official nonprofit partner of the Boston Marathon, I felt an instant rush of excitement. The opportunity to raise funds by running for such an amazing Foundation is a dream come true for me.

- Help patients needing better access to medical care
- Help victims of natural disasters, such as Hurricane Sandy
- Help the frail elderly through a fall prevention program
- Help homeless people through donations of furniture and medical supplies to homeless shelters
- Help employees facing financial emergencies.
