4 Things You Missed From Selectmen Last Night
An Asian Longhorned Beetle Eradication Program and 10 voting precincts were discussed.

The discussed the following items at their meeting last night:
- The Eradication Program was presented by Clint McFarland, USDA Federal Program Manager. He said the whole town is now under the umbrella of the eradication program and he is hopeful the problem can be resolved.
- Selectmen approved adding another for voting due to the increased population from the 2010 census data after submitting the plan to the state for approval. There are now 10 precincts in town, but polling locations have yet to be finalized.
- Selectmen also appointed Maribeth Boisvert as an associate member of the Zoning Board of Appeals.
- Selectmen also approved the 2012 fiscal policies, which includes a 6.5 percent reserve of town funds.
The next meeting of the selectmen is Tuesday, Nov. 8.
