Elsie Kaye Gift Shop &amp; Artisan Studio In 2009, on a whim, Holly Kenny took a flameworking class and learned to make glass beads. This sparked a love of glass art and led to the launch her business, Elsie Kaye Gift Shop and Art Studio in downtown Westborough. Holly currently teaches flameworking and metalworking at her studio and is on the faculty at the New England Craft Program in Williamsburg, MA. Holly loves the fluidity and movement of glass and enjoys incorporating metals, enamels and other elements that can change the texture and appearance of the glass. As a result, much of her work takes on an abstract, organic feel. Her work, under the name Elsie Kaye Glassworks, can be found at more than 50 boutiques and galleries across the country. Holly is passionate about promoting emerging local artists by selling their work at her retail shop, as well as helping to foster connections with new and existing businesses in the local area. She is an active member of her community, where she has lived with her husband and two children since 2006.

Just one night after the special town meeting, the discussed the following: <ol> <li>Town Manager Daniel Morgado said Asian Longhorn Beetles were found on trees on Main Street. The trees will be taken down and this does not affect the yard waste drop offs and pick ups in town.</li> <li>Selectmen approved an all alcohol beverages club license change in the manager to Steen Pelliegrino for the Adelphi Inc., d.b.a. Knights of Columbus on 204-206 South Quinsigamond Avenue.</li> <li>They postponed a vote on the fiscal policies for 2013 until a full board was present (Selectmen Henry Fitzgerald and Jon Lebeaux were absent).</li> <li>Selectmen approved the HUD grant application for regional sustainability planning.</li> <li>The selectmen decided not to go into executive session.</li> </ol>
