SHREWSBURY, MA — Two suspects were accused of forcing their way into a Shrewsbury home and threatening residents with a knife last week.
The home invasion was reported around 8:30 p.m. Thursday at a Lake View Avenue home. The suspects were accused of kicking in the door, stealing several personal items and fleeing before responding officers arrived.
Investigators later identified the two suspects and obtained arrest warrants on Friday, police said. Officers with the Worcester Police Department Gang Unit located both suspects at a Worcester residence that evening and took them into custody.
Police did not release the suspects' names, charges or information about the stolen items.
Investigators believe the home invasion was targeted and said there is no known threat to the community.
