Beacon Hill Votes on Land Acquisitions

Several bills that came before the state senate involved land takings requiring roll call votes in order to be enacted.

The question came on enacting H 3341 authorizing the Massachusetts Department of Transportation to acquire certain parcels of land in the town of Hopkinton.

By a roll call vote of 34-0, the bill was enacted. State Sen. Michael Moore voted yes.

The question came on enacting H 3660 authorizing a design and build contract for and lease of a recreational facility in the city known as the town of Braintree.
