Beacon Hill Votes on Reuniting South End and Chinatown

The state senate was in session on Nov. 1.

State Sen. Michael Moore submitted the following release:

The senate attached an emergency preamble on a 6-0 standing vote to H 3731 establishing a sick leave bank for Luis Rodriguez, an employee of the Department of Children and Families.
 
The senate enacted S 1891 exempting Dimitri P. Karpouzis from the maximum age requirement for police officers in the town of Ashland.
 
The senate enacted H 3639 authorizing the town of Easthampton to grant an additional liquor license for the sale of all alcoholic beverages to be drunk on the premises to Michael Baer at 5 Chapman Ave.
 
The senate ordered to a third reading S 1878 authorizing the town of Peru to establish a fire station.

The senate ordered to a third reading S 1954 relative to health reimbursement accounts for the insured employees of the town of Arlington.
 
The senate ordered to a third reading S 1966 amending the charter of the town of Winchendon.
