Slashed Tires, Burned Cars at Elderly Complex

Residents were startled to find many tires had been slashed.

Also on Monday, residents of the Shrewsbury Green Apartments, located a short distance away at 35 South Quinsigamond Ave., reported that two vehicles in the lot were set on fire, said police.

"These apartments are a short distance from the scene of the tire slashing and arson, so it appears these crimes are related," stated police. "Both vehicles received interior damage as a result of the arson."
