Casavant, DePalo Land Selectmen Seats: Shrewsbury Election Results

SHREWSBURY, MA — Shrewsbury voters headed to the polls this year on Tuesday, May 2, for the annual town election, casting their votes in several categories for town positions.

Polls were open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Of 23,815 registered voters in Shrewsbury, 4,978 cast ballots, marking 20.9 percent of the voters.

• Maurice M. DePalo, 2,649 votes (W)
• Beth N. Casavant, 2,677 votes (W)
• Melisa A. Hollenback, 1,711 votes
• Rashid M. Shaikh, 1,263 votes
• Benjamin W. Tartaglia, Sr., 608 votes

• Sandra M. Fryc, 2.981 votes (W)
• Jason Palitsch, 3,628 votes (W)

TRUSTEES OF PUBLIC LIBRARY (vote for three)

• Joan T. Barry, 3,218 votes (W)
• Kevin M. McKenna, 3,021 votes (W)
• Elizabeth R. Powers, 3,104 votes (W)

SHREWSBURY HOUSING AUTHORITY (vote for one)

• Richard Ricker, 3,402 votes (W)
