UPDATE: Dinky's Robbed, Suspects Flee from Cops
Police scanner reports that Dinky's Restaurant was robbed this morning.

Police scanner reports indicate that Dinky's Restaurant was robbed by two suspects who fled the scene. The incident occurred shortly before 8:15 a.m., according to the report.
Shrewsbury officers responded to 70 Clinton St., where Dinky's is located, after the theft was reported. At approximately 7:22 a.m., a man and a woman tried to steal cash from the register and flee, said police. An employee spotted the attempted theft and said something to the suspects, who took off with an undetermined amount of cash, said police.
Witnesses spotted the two running into the woods near Dinky's. The female suspect is described as a female in her 20s with strawberry blonde hair with a pony tail, small build and wearing a sweatshirt. The male is in his 20s, as well, and was wearing a red hat and low cut pants.

Shrewsbury Police searched the area for several hours along with Shrewsbury K9, and assisted by the Worcester Police Department.
