Dog Hearing Postponed After Owner Demands Interpreter for the Deaf
The board has rescheduled the hearing for later in June.

Last Tuesday, Shrewsbury Board of Selectmen rescheduled a hearing concerning a "dangerous dog" after the owner demanded that a deaf interpreter be present for her ex-husband, reported the Worcester Telegram and Gazette.
Jeneen Demers, owner of boxers Pesky and Sadie, said that her ex-husband lives at her home, 31 Westmont Rd., on weekends. Two of the selectmen wanted to go ahead with the meeting.
The hearing is to determine a course of action regarding the two dogs; Demers has been cited numerous times for the dogs getting loose in the neighborhood, as well as biting a neighbor, said the Telegram.
