Drag Racing to the Bridge; B&E; Numerous Vandalism Reports

Incidents, Friday, Aug. 16 

12:33 a.m.: Vandalism reported on Grafton Street 

12:54 a.m.: Police respond to reports of a man running in the middle of Boston Turnpike. The man, said the report, was trying to make it to Framingham

1:33 a.m.: Vandalism on Lake Street 

2:02 a.m.: Vandalism on Cherry Street 

2:40 a.m.: Police respond to suspicious persons reported at Floral Street 

8:19 a.m.: NSTAR employee brings found wallet from Old Brook Road. The wallet is returned to its rightful owner.

1:30 p.m.: Hit and run on Hartford Turnpike 

2:51 p.m.: Police respond to reports of two cars drag racing toward the Route 9 bridge 

2:59 p.m.: Reports of erratic driving of a truck on Boston Turnpike 

3:51 p.m: Three males causing a disturbance, Meadowsweet Road 

4:19 p.m.: BOLO issued for person driving erratically on Elm Street 

4:53 p.m.: A BOLO is issued for a 15-year-old girl who got into a verbal argument with her mom and took off on foot toward Shrewsbury from Northborough. Northborough police picked up the girl. 

6:39 p.m.: B&E at 268 Boston Turnpike 

6:45 p.m.: Scam phone calls, Arbor Drive 

7:58 p.m.: Police respond to calls about an erratic driver on South Quinsigamond Ave. 

8:46 p.m.: Report of dirt bikes riding down Worthington Ave. 

10:21 p.m.: Loud music on Latura Street 

11 p.m.: Report of a man in the middle of the lake in a canoe, Quinsigamond Ave. 

11:12 p.m.: Dispute at a location on Main Street 

11:23 p.m.: Reports of an erratic driver driving a Mustang toward Route 9 from Florence Street. The driver had a flat tire.
