EEE Threat Changes School Activity Schedule
Below is the official statement of the Shrewsbury School Department re: the EEE threat.

The following message was emailed yesterday afternoon to parents of Shrewsbury public school students:
Dear Shrewsbury Families,
Earlier today, due to the recent increase in mosquito-borne illness in neighboring towns. This is in effect until further notice, and likely will last until the first hard frost of the season.

For our schools, this will primarily affect Shrewsbury High School outdoor, evening athletic events. Updated schedule information will be published on the SHS Athletics website when available, at http://schools.shrewsbury-ma.gov/department/?fDD=66-0.
The Shrewsbury Parks and Recreation Department has also indicated that all sports groups using town fields must complete their activities by 6:30 pm this week.
