Elsie Kaye Gift Shop &amp; Artisan Studio In 2009, on a whim, Holly Kenny took a flameworking class and learned to make glass beads. This sparked a love of glass art and led to the launch her business, Elsie Kaye Gift Shop and Art Studio in downtown Westborough. Holly currently teaches flameworking and metalworking at her studio and is on the faculty at the New England Craft Program in Williamsburg, MA. Holly loves the fluidity and movement of glass and enjoys incorporating metals, enamels and other elements that can change the texture and appearance of the glass. As a result, much of her work takes on an abstract, organic feel. Her work, under the name Elsie Kaye Glassworks, can be found at more than 50 boutiques and galleries across the country. Holly is passionate about promoting emerging local artists by selling their work at her retail shop, as well as helping to foster connections with new and existing businesses in the local area. She is an active member of her community, where she has lived with her husband and two children since 2006.

﻿﻿﻿﻿﻿﻿﻿State and federal officials will hold a public meeting to provide information and answer questions regarding the recent expansion of the Asian longhorned beetle (ALB) Worcester County regulated area, now covering the entire town of Shrewsbury.  DCR and APHIS expanded the regulated area by 12 square miles.  The federal and state quarantine zone for ALB in Worcester County is now 110 square miles.  To help prevent the spread of ALB, no wood materials are to be transported outside of the regulated area.
