Come, unwind, revive and strengthen your body and mind with ashtanga yoga on Saturday, Feb. 19 at Metrowest Yoga (32 Millbrook Street, Worcester). Ashtanga yoga is a series of asanas in a flowing dynamic practice. The primary series focuses on strengthening, building flexibility and creating peace and focus of the mind.
The instructor, Gail Cannon, is a Kripalu-certified yoga instructor with nearly 30 years of experience. She began the practice of Ashtanga in 1984 in order to combine her meditation practice with movement.
