The Shrewsbury Education Foundation (SEF) is pleased to announce its Second Annual Adult Spelling Bee at Veteran’s Inc. (59 South St., Shrewsbury) on May 6. The social hour begins at 6:30 p.m. with a cash bar serving wine, beer and soda, light snacks and raffles. The competition begins at 7:30 p.m.
Radio personality, Hank Stolz, Host of “Wake UP Worcester” will emcee the event. For “Bee” rules, event sponsorship information, registering a team or to make a donation to the event, please visit the SEF website.
There is a $200 donation for each team of four, which can be paid by team members, their employers or their organizations. Costumes are welcomed. Admission to this fun evening is $10 per person.
