Shrewsbury Public Library Youth Trivia Showdown

The Youth Trivia Showdown is back by popular demand.  The showdown will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 23 at 6:30 p.m.  The competition will once again utilize a state-of-the-art buzzer system, which the Library received through a generous grant last year.  Every competitor will win a prize, with the grand prize winner being awarded a $50 Borders® gift card.

The Shrewsbury Dunkin' Donuts® is sponsoring the event for the fourth time this year.  All youth are encouraged to participate.  The event is open to the public to watch.  Whether you know everything about movies, music, history, science, math, Massachusetts or sports, there will be a topic to suit every participant's skill set.

Registration is due by Monday, Nov. 22 at 5 p.m., to ensure enough prizes and materials.  To register, call Dan Barbour, Young Adult Librarian, at the Shrewsbury Public Library at 508-842-0081 ext. 5.  You may also register at the front desk of the Library.
