Elsie Kaye Artisan Gifts & Flamework Studio

Elsie Kaye Gift Shop &amp; Artisan Studio In 2009, on a whim, Holly Kenny took a flameworking class and learned to make glass beads. This sparked a love of glass art and led to the launch her business, Elsie Kaye Gift Shop and Art Studio in downtown Westborough. Holly currently teaches flameworking and metalworking at her studio and is on the faculty at the New England Craft Program in Williamsburg, MA. Holly loves the fluidity and movement of glass and enjoys incorporating metals, enamels and other elements that can change the texture and appearance of the glass. As a result, much of her work takes on an abstract, organic feel. Her work, under the name Elsie Kaye Glassworks, can be found at more than 50 boutiques and galleries across the country. Holly is passionate about promoting emerging local artists by selling their work at her retail shop, as well as helping to foster connections with new and existing businesses in the local area. She is an active member of her community, where she has lived with her husband and two children since 2006.

All decorations at Mountain View Cemetery must be removed by April 1, in order to begin the spring clean up. Any decorations or plantings left on the graves will be removed and discarded by the cemetery staff. Easter decorations and spring plantings can be placed on the graves the Wednesday before Easter, which is April 20. Please restrict planting and decorations to flower beds in front of the monuments. Plantings are not permitted behind the monuments. If you have any questions, please call the Shrewsbury Town Hall at 508-841-8560.
