The Ukranian Easter Egg Decorating Workshop will be held at the Museum of Russian Icons (203 Union St., Clinton) on Saturday, April 2 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Explore the art, symbolism and beauty of creating pysanky. Pysanky are decorated Ukrainian Easter eggs, using dyes and beeswax applied in layers. This workshop is being offered just in time for Easter and Eastern Orthodox Easter, both falling on the same day this year, April 24. Participants will create their own one-of-a-kind eggs during this hands-on workshop.
No experience is necessary and all materials will be provided. Please bring your own apron. The workshop fee is $25 for members and $30 for non-members.
