Elsie Kaye Gift Shop &amp; Artisan Studio In 2009, on a whim, Holly Kenny took a flameworking class and learned to make glass beads. This sparked a love of glass art and led to the launch her business, Elsie Kaye Gift Shop and Art Studio in downtown Westborough. Holly currently teaches flameworking and metalworking at her studio and is on the faculty at the New England Craft Program in Williamsburg, MA. Holly loves the fluidity and movement of glass and enjoys incorporating metals, enamels and other elements that can change the texture and appearance of the glass. As a result, much of her work takes on an abstract, organic feel. Her work, under the name Elsie Kaye Glassworks, can be found at more than 50 boutiques and galleries across the country. Holly is passionate about promoting emerging local artists by selling their work at her retail shop, as well as helping to foster connections with new and existing businesses in the local area. She is an active member of her community, where she has lived with her husband and two children since 2006.

The Ukranian Easter Egg Decorating Workshop will be held at the <a href="http://www.museumofrussianicons.org/calendar/2011/april/event2.html" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Museum of Russian Icons</a> (203 Union St.,  Clinton) on Saturday, April 2 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Explore the art, symbolism and beauty of creating pysanky. Pysanky are decorated Ukrainian Easter eggs, using dyes and beeswax applied in layers. This workshop is being offered just in time for Easter and Eastern Orthodox Easter, both falling on the same day this year, April 24. Participants will create their own one-of-a-kind eggs during this hands-on workshop. No experience is necessary and all materials will be provided. Please bring your own apron. The workshop fee is $25 for members and $30 for non-members.
