Fight Between Roommates Leads to an Arrest
A man has been arrested with A&B with a dangerous weapon and other charges after an argument between roommates.

A man faces multiple charges, including A&B with a dangerous weapon, after he allegedly sped off from an argument, striking the victim with his car, damaging a lawn and driving drunk, said police.
Jorge Antonio Rodriques, 53, who lists his address as 259 Southwest Cutoff Rd. in Worcester, was arrested and charged with A&B with a dangerous weapon (a car), destruction of property more than $250, malicious unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and OUI (liquor).
On Tuesday, Feb. 26, Shrewsbury police responded at 9:50 p.m. to 12 Pleasant St. where an argument between roommates had escalated. When Officer Peter Capalbo arrived, he spoke to the victim, who claimed she had an argument with Rodrigues in the yard before he fled in a car and struck her in the leg when driving away. Rodriques also damaged the lawn during the incident. The victim was not injured, according to police.

A short distance away, on Lake Street, Officer Ryan Chartrand stopped Rodriquez's car and arrested him. He was held at the Shrewsbury Police Department until arraignment the following day at Westborough District Court.
