Firefighters Fight Blaze on Edgemere Boulevard
Firefighters from at least four towns have been called to the scene.
UPDATE: Sunday, Jan. 29, 10:20 p.m. - No blaze is currently visible from the home. It appears that the structure is smoldering. Shrewsbury firefighters remain at the scene. Some fire departments from other towns have left.

Sunday, Jan. 29, 9:45 p.m. - Shrewsbury firefighters are currently on the scene of a fire at 5 Edgemere Blvd. According to scanner reports, the two-alarm structure is fully involved.
According to Westborough firefighter Rich Golden, Shrewsbury, Worcester, Westborough and Northborough fire departments are at the scene. He said there may be others there as well, but he could not confirm that information.

"There are water problems there," he said, when asked about scanner reports that frozen hydrants were a problem. "I'm not sure of the exact nature of the problems."
A dispatcher at the confirmed the reported fire, but he told Shrewsbury Patch that no further information would be given at this time.
According to Zillow.com, the structure is a single-family, two-bedroom home built in 1916. It is located on the corner of Edgemere Boulevard and Rte. 20.
