Eight teams of and alumni competed in the first annual Davey George Memorial Hockey Tournament. The Tournament was put together by Ryan Massad of Shrewbury Adult Athletics, as well as the George family. Over a hundred spectators showed up to watch the tournament, and remember the late hockey stand-out at Northstar Youth Forum in Westborough. The winners of the tournament were Dave Buddenhagen, Jay Flanigan, Chris Manchester, Ray Monroe, Sean Parsons and Tim West.
