Homeless Man Living in Woods Arrested; Skateboarder on the Bridge

The following information was supplied by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Incidents, Sunday, Aug. 25 

12:15 a.m. German shepherd found on Clinton Street 

12:16 a.m.: Police receive a 911 call about an MVA on South Street with unknown injuries. Police report that the operator walked away from the crash, and there is property damage to a telephone pole, including damaged wires. 

1:48 a.m.: Structure fire, Salisbury Street 

3:24 a.m.: Male on a scooter on the Boston Turnpike 

8:42 a.m.: Call about a man living in the woods off Edgewater Ave. Keith Roderick, homeless, is arrested on an outstanding warrant from New Hampshire 

12:04 p.m. Resident from Toblin Hill Drive calls to report that her 20-year-old daughter, who is a drug user, is missing 

1:44 p.m.: Person calls to report that someone is possibly selling drugs out of a vehicle on Boston Turnpike. Police find nothing. 

2:30 p.m.: Resident of Saybrook Road reports that someone has thrown trash in her yard 

3:39 p.m.: Police respond to person skateboarding over the bridge in the middle of the road, Boston Turnpike 

4:28 p.m.: Larceny of gas from car on Shrewsbury Green Drive 

6:15 p.m.: Well being check results in arrest of another person in the home, on a warrant, West Main Street 

7:16 p.m.: Shih Tzu found on Westport Drive. Reunited with owner. 

8:54 p.m.: Suspicious activity in the woods off Grafton Street. People are spoken to by police. 

11:36 p.m.: Male and female arguing in the area of Country Way
