Important Update From Shrewsbury Water & Sewer Division

June 8, 2020

On Wednesday, June 10, 2020, Haluch Water Contracting, Inc. will be connecting the recently installed water main on Main Street to the water main on Carlton Street and on Thursday, June 11, 2020, they will be connecting the new main to the water main on Founders Road. This work will require the Water and Sewer Division to suspend water service in the respective areas on the scheduled days to complete the work. Water service will be suspended beginning around 9:00 a.m. and will be restored by approximately 3:00 p.m. to allow this work to take place on the days indicated. On June 10th, Carlton Street, Woodway Drive, Brookway Drive and East Avenue will be without water and on June 11th, Founders Road, Trowbridge Circle and Trowbridge Lane from Founders road to number 17 will be without water during the work. Please follow the link below for a map of the area where water service will be interrupted.

Residents in the vicinity of the impacted area may also have reduced pressure or discolored water due to the interruption in water service. If you experience discolored water after service is restored, please run the cold water in an outside faucet, or downstairs bathtub until it clears.
