In Court: Fake Survey-Taker Charged with Larceny

Thursday, Sept. 27 

Jennifer Joubert, 27, of 12 Everard St., Worcester, was summonsed to court on a complaint by Shrewsbury police and charged with larceny over $250 by false pretenses. According to a police report, items that were reported stolen from a residence in Worcester were later sold to the Cash for Gold store in Shrewsbury. Police allege Joubert entered the victim's home by posing as a survey-taker then once in the home, asked to use the bathroom as a rouse to gain access to the bedroom. Judge David Locke set a pretrial hearing for Oct. 24. 

Donna M. Poulin, 46, of 85 Howard St., Northborough, was arraigned before Judge David Locke on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol, marked lanes violation and speeding. Poulin was arrested by Westborough police on Sept. 26 following a single-car accident on Mill St. Poulin is due back in court on Nov. 8. 

David R. Stone, 52, of 60 Main St., Northborough, was found guilty by Judge Vito Virzi of operating under the influence (second offense). He was sentenced to two years supervised probation, ordered to undergo a 14-day inpatient alcohol treatment program and ordered to undergo period screening for alcohol use. A related charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle was dismissed. 

Judge Vito Virzi dismissed a charge of larceny under $250 brought by Shrewsbury police against John Wahlstrom, 23, of 2 South Brook St., Shrewsbury. The charges were originally brought after Wahlstrom allegedly failed to return approximately $100 in receipts from an evening of pizza deliveries to his boss at Domino's Pizza in Shrewsbury.  

Michael A. Indish, 49, of 13 Charles St., Douglas, was arraigned on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol and a marked lanes violation. Indish was arrested by State Police from the Grafton barracks on Interstate 290 on Sept. 26. Judge David Locke set a pretrial hearing date of Nov. 7. 

Brett Gonyea, 22, of 3 Amherst St., North Grafton, was summonsed on a complaint by the Grafton police department and charged with distribution of a class D substance and possession of more than one ounce of marijuana. Judge David Locke set a pretrial hearing for Nov. 7. 

Nathan J. St. Pierre, 21, of 12 Beacon St., Shrewsbury, was summonsed to court on a complaint by the Shrewsbury police department to face two counts of receiving stolen property. Judge David Locke set a pretrial hearing for Nov. 9.
