In Court: Third OUI, Wegman's Larceny

The following cases were heard in Westborough District Court.

Monday, Oct. 1

Brian A. Dolliff, 35, of 43 South St., Apt. 2, Westborough, was arraigned before Judge Vito Virzi on charges of operating under the influence of liquor, third offense, and failure to stop or yield. Dolliff had been arrested by Westborough police early Monday morning on East Main Street. In his report, the arresting officer said he had to swerve his cruiser to avoid being struck by Dolliff's car. Dolliff was released on $2,000 bail, ordered not to drive a motor vehicle, and is due back in court on Nov. 14.

Jeffrey M. Lavin, 35, of 3 Versailles St., Marlborough, was summonsed to court on a complaint from the Southborough Police Department on charges of driving with a suspended license and driving an uninsured motor vehicle. Judge Vito Virzi dismissed the charges upon payment of court costs.

Randel Anderson, 42, of 126 Paris Ave., Worcester, was arrested by the Shrewsbury Police Department on charges of operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, driving the wrong way on a state highway and a marked lanes violation. Anderson was arrested at 11:20 p.m. on Saturday after an officer allegedly observed him driving west in the eastbound lane of Route 9 near White City. Judge Vito Virzio continued without a finding the OUI charge, with Anderson receiving one year of supervised probation and 45 days loss of license. The other charges were filed. 

Rebecca M. Goodall, 31, of 27 Savin St., Marlborough, was summonsed to court on a complaint issued by the Northborough Police Department on a charge of larceny by check. Police allege Goodall wrote a check to Wegman's supermarket for $168 that was returned to the store for insufficient funds and that she later ignored all attempts by the store to recover the lost funds. Judge Vito Virzi released Goodall on personal recognizance and set a pretrial hearing for Nov. 9.

Tiffany Colley, 28, of 33 Wesleyan St., Shrewsbury, was arraigned before Judge Vito Virzi on charges of assault and battery on a police officer, resisting arrest and assault and battery. Colley had been arrested shortly after 4 a.m. Sunday by Shrewsbury police after an alleged domestic dispute. She is due back in court Nov. 8.
