LETTER: State Rep Hannah Kane Endorses Beth Casavant For Selectman

State Rep. Hannah Kane is endorsing Beth Casavant for a seat on the Board of Selectmen.

SHREWSBURY, MA — The following letter was submitted:

Dear Editor,
Please join me on May 2 in voting to elect Beth Casavant as our newest Selectman and to re-elect Moe DePalo for another term.
Beth Casavant has all the requisite skills to serve our Town as an exemplary Selectman. Beth is articulate, hard-working and intelligent – and she seeks out and listens to all perspectives and all community members. Beth does not have an agenda – she seeks to ensure that our community addresses our challenges head-on, capitalizes on our opportunities and plans for a bright future. Having served as a Library Trustee, a Town Meeting Member, and a PTO President, Beth has experience and knowledge in many areas of Town government and she will hit the ground running.
I have worked with Moe DePalo for more than 15 years on issues affecting our Town. Moe digs into an issue and studies it like no one else I know. He is more than prepared to change his mind if the information he learns leads him to believe a different solution is warranted. We need a strong and experienced Board to help effect a smooth transition to our next Town Manager and Moe’s insight, experience and dedication to our community make him an invaluable member of the Board of Selectmen.
Hannah Kane – State Representative, Finance Committee Member and Town Meeting Member, Precinct 5
