Local Student Earns Recognition for Internship from Governor

Thanks to the life sciences internship, one local youth will be prepared for a career.

Name: Alexander Marden

School: UMass Dartmouth, mechanical engineering

Accomplishment: Alexander completed the Life Sciences Center Internship Challenge. The program facilitates the placement of students and recent graduates who are considering career opportunities in the life sciences in paid summer internships across the state. Alexander worked at Five Star Manufacturing this summer doing programming, quality control and traceability.
