Elsie Kaye Gift Shop &amp; Artisan Studio In 2009, on a whim, Holly Kenny took a flameworking class and learned to make glass beads. This sparked a love of glass art and led to the launch her business, Elsie Kaye Gift Shop and Art Studio in downtown Westborough. Holly currently teaches flameworking and metalworking at her studio and is on the faculty at the New England Craft Program in Williamsburg, MA. Holly loves the fluidity and movement of glass and enjoys incorporating metals, enamels and other elements that can change the texture and appearance of the glass. As a result, much of her work takes on an abstract, organic feel. Her work, under the name Elsie Kaye Glassworks, can be found at more than 50 boutiques and galleries across the country. Holly is passionate about promoting emerging local artists by selling their work at her retail shop, as well as helping to foster connections with new and existing businesses in the local area. She is an active member of her community, where she has lived with her husband and two children since 2006.

A man who was reportedly sentenced in 2009 to three years in prison for child pornography possession was arrested Monday on a warrant for child pornography. Robert M. Abood, 66, of 250 Boston Tpke., Apt. A, was arrested at 4:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 3, on a warrant for child pornography, Shrewsbury police logs show. <a href="http://www.telegram.com/article/20090808/NEWS/908080325/1003/RSS01&amp;source=rss" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">The Worcester Telegram &amp; Gazette reported in August 2009 that Abood, then a Spencer resident, was sentenced to three years in state prison after acknowleding to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents and state police investigators that he had sent and received images of child pornography via email. </a> The Worcester County District Attorney's office said Abood's arrest was for a probation violation related to his GPS device. No further information was available Wednesday night.
