Police: Arrest for Shoplifting, 'Disoriented' Ice Cream Truck Driver, Vandalism

Sunday, Aug. 17
- At 10:56 a.m., a person from Smith Road visited the lobby to talk with police about an ongoing dispute with his mother
- At 12:45 p.m., a person from Becket Street visited police to discuss an ongoing dispute with his wife
- At 2:34 p.m., a person from Maple Ave. reported that his girlfriend took his cell phone and ring
- At 2:47 p.m., vandalism was reported, Grove Street
- At 3:07 p.m., a person on Bumblebee Circle requested a check on a Juniper Farms ice cream truck driver. Caller feels he may be under the influence or disoriented.
- At 4:34 p.m., police arrested Yeverne Sarpee, 24, for operating after suspension
- At 4:55 p.m., a business from Shrewsbury Shopping Center reported that a tall male with a buzz cut fled in a white pickup truck. Millbury PD was advised to a BOLO. Patrick Michelson, 14 John St., Millbury, was arrested for shoplifting by asportation
- At 6:08 p.m., a person advised that a white female was caring a bag and walking partially in the roadway/Route 20 and appeared distraught
- At 7:09 p.m., a resident from Lawrence Street reported that an ex boyfriend of her daughter’s was calling the cell phone from inside the house. Report canceled.
- At 7:44 p.m., a resident of South Quinsigamond reported that a male throated her
- At 8:44 p.m., a resident from Paton Road reported that a friend she allowed into her apartment took a tablet from her
- At 9:22 p.m., harassing calls and texts were reported, Colonial Drive
