Police Log: Attempted Scare, Public Urination
The following information was provided by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Charges are not an indication of a conviction.

Monday, Aug. 6
8:16 a.m.: A caller requested an officer for a dispute between two tenants on Boston Turnpike. The parties were spoken to and advised to speak with the landlord.
1:02 p.m.: A caller requested police assistance with a lockout on Grafton Street. A 7-month-old was locked in the car. The Fire Department was able to open the car.

5:37 p.m.: A caller from Villa Road reported ongoing problems with illegal dumping. Both parties were spoken to; the suspected dumper was going to clean up the yard trimmings.
8:33 p.m.: The and medics responded to an Elm Street apartment for a heroin overdose.

8:52 p.m.: A Purinton Street house was reported broken into.
Tuesday, Aug. 7
9:55 a.m.: A caller from Stoney Hill Road and Hartford Turnpike reported a possible homeless person living in the woods. Police responded and didn't find anyone living there; there were, however, some discarded items.
12:14 p.m.: An elderly woman was locked out of her home on Rolfe Avenue. The Fire Department and police helped the woman.
12:28 p.m.: An 85-year-old woman fell out of her vehicle on C. Francis Gardens Court. The Fire Department and medics responded, and transported the woman to St. Vincent's Hospital.
2:03 p.m.: A caller reported vandalism to an apartment on Boston Turnpike. Police responded; a rear window was broken and the apartment was ransacked. It was unknown what was taken, as the resident was not home.
4:05 p.m.: A black cat with a white spot on its chest was reported missing from 117 North St.
4:33 p.m.: Sewage was reported to be coming out of a manhole in the parking lot behind 1000 Boston Tpke. There was a back up of some sort. The Sewer Department said a private contractor would be there the next day to take care of the situation.
4:46 p.m.: Police put a be on the lookout notice for a man driving a 1999 silver Nissan Altima on 211 Main St. in Northborough. The man allegedly urinated in view of a mother and daughter in the Wal-Mart parking lot.
6:32 p.m.: A caller reported a possibly rabid fox at South and Floral streets. Police were unable to locate the fox.
7:26 p.m.: A caller from Lakeside Drive wanted to speak to an officer about a strange animal in the area. Police spoke to the caller, who was advised to call if the strange animal returned.
7:59 p.m.: A caller reported two males fighting on the basketball court on Parker Road. The complaint was unfounded.
8:09 p.m.: A caller from Wachusett Avenue reported a male party was on his property waving papers at him. Police responded; neither party was involved in an harassment protection order.
8:40 p.m.: A landlord from South Quinsigamond Avenue went to the Police Department to speak to an officer about damage done by a tenant. Police advised the man.
9:16 p.m.: A be on the lookout notice was issued for a 38-year-old Millbury man whose wife had found him on Grafton Street in Worcester with a needle in his arm. The man was on probation and expressing suicidal thoughts.
10:46 p.m.: A caller from B. Francis Gardens Court requested to speak with an officer in regards to a female neighbor who was making loud noises to scare her.
