Police Log: Bird Stuck in Tree; Weed Confiscated From Teens
The following information was provided by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction. All arrests are reported.

Friday, Aug. 31
7:35 a.m.: Police were doing radar enforcement on Route 20 and pulled over eight vehicles within an hour.
8:35 a.m.: Animal Control responded to 227 Maple Ave. for the report of a barking dog.

10:37 a.m.: Animal Control responded to Seton Drive for the report of a bird stuck in a tree.
10:43 a.m.: A person went to the Police Department to report her license was stolen while at a business on Route 9. When she went to leave the station, the license was located in between the seats of her motor vehicle.

11:41 a.m.: Police were outside with a man behind the Police Department taking pictures. The man was with the media.
3:40 p.m.: Police responded to 100 Arbor Dr., where a vehicle was parked halfway in a handicap spot. A citation was issued.
3:46 p.m.: A caller from the area of 785 Main St. reported that drug transactions were about to take place. Police responded and confiscated some drugs. Police spoke to the parents of two young men.
3:52 p.m.: Police were doing radar enforcement on Route 20 and pulled over about nine over the next hour.
5:05 p.m.: Police pulled over a vehicle on Hartford Turnpike. Evan W. Ross, 22, of 2 Virginia Cir., Grafton, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
8:51 p.m.: Police received a report of several kids on the roof of Police responded and removed the kids.
10:52 p.m.: A caller from Williamsburg Court said there were multiple youths in cars, being loud. It was an ongoing issue, the caller said. Police responded and determined the kids were visiting friends. All were spoken to. Police confiscated and destroyed a small amount of marijuana.
10:52 p.m.: Police received multiple calls for a large party in the area of 345 Boylston St. All parties were spoken to; the people moved the party inside.
