Police Log: Dressing Room Fight, Go-Cart Harassment

Friday, Aug. 17
7:22 a.m.: Police stopped to check on a disabled motor vehicle in the high speed lane on Route 9. The officer was advised the operator was removing make-up in her eye.
11 a.m.: Police received a call about people going door-to-door on Wesleyan Street. A sergeant was advised they were Jehovah's Witnesses.

12:25 p.m.: A laptop was reported stolen from a business at 21 South Quinsigamond Ave. by a couple that had a young child, possibly 3 years old. Police were going to the business later to retrieve video footage.
12:59 p.m.: A vehicle was reported broken into at 486 Grafton St.

1:28 p.m.: A child on Kenilworth Road was reportedly bitten in the face by a dog that lived on Estabrook. Animal Control was notified and responded.
2 p.m.: While on foot patrol on Oval Drive, police arrested Rashad Ashmore, 27, of 101 Paine St., Apt. 1, Worcester, and charged him on a warrant for shoplifting by asportation.
3 p.m.: A caller from a dressing room at a business in the Christmas Tree plaza at 1000 Boston Tpke. reported two women fighting inside a dressing room. Police responded and arrested Neomi Tequah, of 10 Newbury St., Worcester. She was charged on warrants for a missing registration sticker and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
5:48 p.m.: Police were out with a suspicious motor vehicle on Holden Street. The party was learning how to drive.
6:31 p.m.: Police received a 911 hangup call from Main Circle. The caller was trying to call India.
7:18 p.m.: Three teenagers on go-carts were in Prospect Park, reportedly harassing patrons. The teens were spoken to.
11:06 p.m.: A caller from Old Brook Road reported a car with Pennsylvania license plates was parked in her driveway. Police responded and were advised the car belonged to a neighbor.
11:35 p.m.: Police received a 911 call from a man on Dana Road who said a woman would not leave his car. Police responded; once they got there they were advised there were no problems, and the man went on his way.
11:48 p.m.: A neighbor reported a loud party on Trowbridge Road. Police responded and the homeowner was going to be quieting down for the night.
