Police Log: Jogger Gets Lost, Man Jumps From Apartment
The following information was provided by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction. All arrests are reported.

Saturday, Aug. 18
3:19 a.m.: gave a verbal warning to a man driving a motorized scooter on Maple Avenue.
3:50 a.m.: Police put a be on the lookout notice for a couple that was involved in an assault and battery in Northborough.

10:12 a.m.: A caller requested to speak with an officer about his ex-wife installing a car seat. Police responded and attempted to speak with the male "who was being unwilling to reason with."
1:10 p.m.: A caller reported a suspicious motor vehicle on O'Donnell Avenue. The caller said a woman got out, inquired about free clothes and then left. Police searched the area and were unable to locate the motor vehicle.

1:57 p.m.: A caller from Maple Avenue reported two suspicious males approached him asking him questions; he said they seemed odd. Police responded, located the men at Maple and Wolcott, and advised them of the town bylaw for soliciting. The men were staying at the Worcester City Motel.

2:13 p.m.: The Light Department responded to 208 South Quinsigamond for a contractor that pulled wires down. The party was working on private property. The resident would be calling the proper department.
5:09 p.m.: A caller from Memorial Drive reported his truck was vandalized. Police took a report.
5:46 p.m.: A sick cat was reported in the area of 151 Hartford Tpke. The caller was advised to bring the animal to a shelter.
8 p.m.: A caller reported she was out for a jog and got lost near South Quinsigamond and South Brook Street. Police responded and helped the female get home.
9:43 p.m.: A caller from Prospect Street and Dartmoor Drive reported that a man in a Jeep was taking orange cones from a construction site. Police responded; the operator said he was picking up cones for his father's company.
11:43 p.m.: A caller from the area of 477 Boston Tpke. was concerned about a car being parked on the property and seeing two men around the pool area. Police responded and sent the men on their way.
Sunday, Aug. 19
12:49 a.m.: Security from 4122 Avalon Wy. reported a tall white man wearing a white shirt and jeans jumped out of a second-floor apartment and took off running. Police responded and were unable to find any evidence of a break-in. The man was not located.
2:17 a.m.: Police stopped a man in the area of 193 Boston Tpke. Oheneba M. Otoo, 64, of 21 Palm St., Pawtucket, RI, was arrested and charged with a marked lanes violation, a red light violation, operating under the influence of liquor (second offense) and possession of an open container of alcohol in public.
8:18 a.m.: A caller reported vandalism to a window at 16 Parker Rd.
11:32 a.m.: Stolen kayaks were reported at 30 Canna Dr.
4:07 p.m.: A 13-year-old girl called 911 after having a verbal dispute with her mother. Police responded and spoke to the parties.
10:09 p.m.: Police were notified by West Boylston police that the driver of a blue 2005 Chrysler mini-van threatened a passenger with what looked to be a gun while going through the Dairy Queen drive-thru. The license plate came back to a resident in Gardner.
11:42 p.m.: A caller from 100 Arbor Dr. said a white truck enters the premises every night around 11 and parks for a short while. Police made a log entry and advised the caller to call back when the truck was there.
