Police Log: Swallowed Dime, Suspicious Photo-Taker

The following information was provided by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction. All arrests are reported.

Thursday, Aug. 30

12:04 p.m.: A caller from Route 9 requested paramedics for a 3-year-old boy who swallowed a dime. Paramedics responded; the boy was breathing and alert. A signed patient refusal was obtained.

5:56 p.m.: Robert J. McClintock, 39, of 26 Wayne St., Apt. 1, Worcester, was arrested on Hartford Turnpike and charged on a warrant.

6:14 p.m.: A caller reported slashed tires on Memorial Drive.

6:51 p.m.: A caller reported a suspicious transaction between a jet ski and a boat on the lake. Police spoke to the caller; the parties were no longer in the area.

7:17 p.m.: A caller from Everett Avenue reported a driver stopped in front of his/her home and took pictures before speeding off.

8 p.m.: A caller from Main Street reported being harassed constantly by individuals at Dean Park. Police spoke with the involved party and the involved party's parents. 

8 p.m.: Police were notified of a wrong-way driver on South Quinsigamond heading toward Route 20. Police checked the area; an elderly male had corrected his direction.

8:20 p.m.: A caller reported a suspicious male peeking into the windows of 197 Boston Tpke. Police responded and sent two males on their way.

11:14 p.m.: A caller reported that while he was arguing with his girlfriend, she broke his window screen on Yorkshire Terrace.

Friday, Aug. 31

12:45 a.m.: A caller from North Quinsigamond Avenue requested a police officer regarding a property dispute with her ex-boyfriend.

5:09 a.m.: A caller reported a dead deer in the roadway by 385 South St.
