State Representative Matt Beaton hosted his second annual charity golf tournament Monday, Aug. 19, at Mount Pleasant Country Club in Boylston, MA.

According to Rep. Beaton, “another stellar day on the golf course at Mount Pleasant Country Club was enjoyed by a full house of golfers at our second annual charity classic. The professional staff at Mount Pleasant Country Club (MPCC) again went above and beyond in providing us with the perfect venue for our tournament. Our 147 golfers enjoyed a fantastic BBQ lunch on the course and the 19th Hole Reception at the Clubhouse featured delicious food. This sold-out event surpassed what we raised last year and we are thrilled to be able to increase by $1,000 what we are able to give to each of our beneficiaries.  I am pleased to report that each of our three charities will receive $12,500 which means we raised a total of $37,500.”
