Shrewsbury Man Gets Jailtime for Home Invasion

After pleading guilty to home invasion, a man whose last known address was in Shrewsbury will serve time.

A man whose last address was listed in Shrewsbury will get jailtime after pleading guilty to two counts of armed assault with intent to rob and home invasion, according to court records posted by the Worcester Telegram and Gazette.

Judge Janet Kenton-Walker in Worcester Superior Court sentenced Marhefka to three concurrent terms of three years to three years and a day to be served in Walpole state prison. He was also given two- to two-and-a-half years for larceny after pleading guilty, reported the Telegram. Marhefka will also serve five years of probation with conditions upon release.
