Shrewsbury Police: Person Tries to Take Barrel of Copper in Stolen Car; Attempted Overdose; Vandalism; OUI Arrest

Saturday, Oct. 18
- At 7:54 a.m., Richard Capra, 69, 437 Lake St., Shrewsbury, was arrested on a warrant
- At 12:56 p.m., police responded to a 911 call about a male and female arguing, 35 Heath Road
- At 1:53 p.m., Ryan Paul Tuttle, 35, 37 South Quinsigamond, Apt. 58B, Shrewsbury, was arrested and charged with OUI/liquor, Boston Turnpike
- At 3:09 p.m., police responded to a two-car MVA with injuries on Boston Turnpike. Both cars were towed, and Haoyu Chen, 26, 509 Plantation St., Apt. 402, Worcester, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license
- At 4:39 p.m., police resopnded to a report of vandalism to 108 Worthington Ave.
- At 6:13 p.m., a small tan and white dog was found on WAchusett Circle
- At 11:48 p.m., police responded to a report of three youths pushing shopping carts around, 50 Boston Turnpike
Sunday, Oct. 19
- At 9:07 a.m., police responded to a report of vandalism, 17 Cranbrook Road
- At 1:06 p.m., police responded to a two-car MVA with injuries, Route 9/Atum Road
- At 3:19 p.m., police responded to a report of a barrel full of copper wire. Suspect took off in vehicle stolen out of Westborough. 8 Flagg Road.

- At 10:03 a.m., the animal control officer responded to a possible sick fox, Boston Turnpike
- At 11:18 a.m., police responded to reports of threats, 719 Grafton St.
- At 12:13 p.m., police responded to a call of attempted larceny, 11 Elizabeth St.
- At 6:08 p.m., police responded to a call regarding shoplifting, 731 Boston Turnpike
- At 8:03 p.m., police and paramedics responded to a man attempting to try to overdose on medicine, Arbor Drive
- At 10:02 p.m., a crash occurred on Hartford Turnpike. injuries.
