'Suspicious Men' Call Leads Police to a K9 Chase Into the Woods

On Wednesday evening, police detained one man, and chased another into the woods, arresting him.

A Worcester man faces multiple charges after peering into some windows, and running from police, and hiding in the woods, on Wednesday night.

Roger Holm, 22, 9 Oakview St., Worcester, was arrested and charged with A&B on an officer, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and intimidation of a witness, said police.

Shortly after 9:11, police responded to a residence on North Quinsigamond Ave. in Shrewsbury, with the caller reporting that two males were looking into his windows. Both wore dark hoodies and backpacks.

One of the men was detained when police arrived, while Holm led police on a foot pursuit along North Quinsigamond Ave. into the woods near Lear Street. With the assistance of Auburn police K9s, he was captured, and arrested.
