The Spring Street Spectacular and Coffee House
Many families enjoyed the coffee house performances as well as the shopping spectacular at Spring Street School.
There was not a parking spot to be had on the evening of Thursday, Dec. 2Β at the Spring Street School where the annual Spring Street Shopping Spectacular and Coffee House was taking place.
The event, held each year for the past eight years, is a fun-filled evening that not only brings the community together but also raises funds.
"This event ends up being a fundraiser," said Melissa Pride, who has been chairperson for the event the last two years. "All of the money raised goes to the Spring Street PTO to support enrichment programs, purchase athletic equipment and any other needs of the Spring Street community."ο»Ώ

The co-chairperson for this event was Beth Casavant. Patty Kinnucane organized all of the musical talent including piano, flute, violin and the saxophone.
The Bushey family graciously donated a beautiful fir tree that was to be raffled. Many purchased their $10 raffle tickets hoping to win this evergreen.
The 30 vendor tables showcased crafts, jewelry, clothing, candles, food and more. The vendors were busy greeting potential customers to their tables.
Walking around, one couldn't help but get into the spirit of the holiday. Munching on a home baked treat, listening to a young child perform, while echoing in the background the sound of laughter filled the air.
