Town Looks for Conservation Commission Member

The Town Manager is seeking a qualified individual interested in serving on the Conservation Commission, as posted on the town's website.

The Conservation Commission consists of five members appointed for staggered terms and is charged with protecting the Town's watershed resources and promoting, developing and conserving the Town's natural resources. Duties and responsibilities are further delineated under General Laws Chapter 40, Section 8C. The Board meets at least monthly throughout the year and may hold additional special meetings as necessary.

The Conservation Commission is fully supported by the professional staff of the Engineering Department.

Interested persons must be registered voters of the Town and are asked to submit a letter of interest and qualifications to Daniel J. Morgado, Town Manager, 100 Maple Avenue no later than June 7, 2013.
