Town Looks for Conservation Commission Member

Shrewsbury is interviewing candidates for an opening on the Conservation Commission.

The Town Manager is seeking a qualified individual interested in serving on the Conservation Commission, reports Shrewsbury's website.

The Conservation Commission consists of five members appointed for staggered terms and is charged with protecting the Town's watershed resources and promoting, developing and conserving the Town's natural resources. Duties and responsibilities are further delineated under General Laws Chapter 40, Section 8C. The Board meets at least monthly throughout the year and may hold additional special meetings as necessary.

Anyone interested should be a registered voter in town, and submit a letter of interest and qualifications to Daniel J. Morgado, Town Manager, 100 Maple Ave. no later than June 7.
