Elsie Kaye Artisan Gifts & Flamework Studio

Elsie Kaye Gift Shop &amp; Artisan Studio In 2009, on a whim, Holly Kenny took a flameworking class and learned to make glass beads. This sparked a love of glass art and led to the launch her business, Elsie Kaye Gift Shop and Art Studio in downtown Westborough. Holly currently teaches flameworking and metalworking at her studio and is on the faculty at the New England Craft Program in Williamsburg, MA. Holly loves the fluidity and movement of glass and enjoys incorporating metals, enamels and other elements that can change the texture and appearance of the glass. As a result, much of her work takes on an abstract, organic feel. Her work, under the name Elsie Kaye Glassworks, can be found at more than 50 boutiques and galleries across the country. Holly is passionate about promoting emerging local artists by selling their work at her retail shop, as well as helping to foster connections with new and existing businesses in the local area. She is an active member of her community, where she has lived with her husband and two children since 2006.

A 33-year-old Goffstown, NH, man was arrested in Shrewsbury yesterday morning on drug trafficking charges after State Police pulled him over for speeding. Trooper Dana Oliver stopped a Lincoln Navigator on Rte. 290 at about 11 a.m. Wednesday. The driver, Samuel G. Lebron, 33, of Goffstown, NH, was found to be unlicensed. Police learned he had active warrants out for his arrest in New Hampshire; they said they searched the SUV and found a secret compartment that contained 175 grams of ecstasy pills. Police took Lebron into custody, charging him with trafficking in methamphetamine and Distribution of a Class B substance. More charges are expected to be filed. Lebron is being held without bail as he has unrelated drug charges with State Police. He is expected to be arraigned today in
