VIDEO: Daytime Outdoor Watering Banned in Town
Due to the continued concerns over water conservation in town, residents can no longer water their lawns between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
As of May 1, the following water restrictions were approved by the Board of Selectmen:
- Even-numbered addresses may use water outdoors: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
- Odd-numbered addresses may use water outdoors: Wednesday, Friday and Sunday
- Non-essential outdoor water use is banned from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on days allowed
- No outdoor use of water on Monday for any address.
- Gardens can be watered as needed per the water department.
- If residents do not adhere to the restrictions, it may result in a fine.
