Man Dies In 3-Alarm Chelsea Fire
A man in his 30s died in a fire that displaced dozens of people Friday night.
CHELSEA, MA — A man was found dead following a three-alarm fire in Chelsea Friday night. Chelsea Police Chief Brian Kyes said the body of a man in his early 30s was found in a small room near the back of 48 Watt St.
The fire broke out at the two-family home and spread to a neighboring building, according to the Boston Globe. The blaze displaced 31 people and caused an estimated $150,000 in damage, the Globe reported.
The fire remains under investigation.
