Area Church Attended By Somerville Residents To Remain Open After School Closes
A report came out last night that a Medford school could be ready to close its doors.
MEDFORD, MA – Saint Clement School will indeed close at the end of the school year, the Archdiocese of Boston confirmed. Patch recently published a report from The Boston Herald saying the school could shutter.
The school, which opened in 1925, will close June 9. The archdiocese cited declining enrollment.
Saint Clement Parish will remain open. The parish has been "serving God's people in Medford and Somerville since 1912," the website says.
