Arizona Man Mailed Meth To Somerville, Boston: Feds

Federal authorities searched one of 20 packages mailed to MA and found over 900 grams hidden inside a stuffed animal and towel.

SOMERVILLE, MA — An Arizona man accused of hiding methamphetamine in packages and mailing them to Massachusetts was indicted in federal court in Boston Thursday. Brandon Greenberg, known as "Brandon Valentine" and "Adrian," 27, faces charges of conspiring to distribute methamphetamine and distribution of methamphetamine.

Greenberg mailed more than 20 packages containing methamphetamine to addresses in Somerville and Boston, the U.S. Attorney's office said. Federal agents searched one of the packages and found more than 900 grams of meth hidden in a towel and inside a stuffed animal, according to the USAO.

Authorities bought meth from Greenberg and seized 486 grams hidden inside three cereal boxes, the USAO said. Investigators also searched his Phoenix home and found an additional 486 grams in his bedroom, according to federal authorities.
