Steven Shane De Angelis, Somerville resident and son of Kelly Roberts and Steve De Angelis, graduated from Cotting School in Lexington on June 6 as a member of the 132nd graduating class. Steven received The Charles H. Taylor, Sr. Memorial Scholarship, which recognizes a graduate who will pursue continued education. He will be attending Emerson College in the fall.
Founded in 1893, Cotting School serves students ages 3-22 with a broad spectrum of learning and communication disabilities, physical challenges and complex medical conditions. Its mission is to empower students with disabilities to achieve their highest learning potential and level of independence.
