Davis Square Restaurant Seized by State

M3, the Southern restaurant in Davis Square, has been seized by the state, according to the Boston Restaurant Talk blog.

Zach Chadwick, @zachad, tweeted a photo of the “Seized” sign on M3’s door:

According to Davis Square Live Journal, the Constable’s Office seized the restaurant on behalf of the landlord, as the restaurant owes the landlord over $25,000.

M3 is at 382 Highland Ave., the corner of Highland and Cutter avenues. It opened in 2012.

Restaurants seized by the state do have the ability to reopen.
