Bhutan Slide Lecture in Cambridge

From "don gurewitz," a contributor to the Somerville Arts Council's daily newsletter.

Dear Friends,

Please join us this Thursday, October 20, from 7:00-9:00pm, for my slide lecture, "Bhutan: Inside the Land of the Thunder Dragon", at the Multicultural Arts Center in Cambridge. With some 300 images, we will take an in-depth look at this fascinating Himalayan Tibetan kingdom which is just beginning to open to the outside world, at the same time attempting to preserve its ancient culture and pristine environment.

The Multicultural Arts Center is at 41 Second Street, near
Lechmere station in Cambridge. There is plenty of street parking.

The lecture is in conjunction with my exhibit of the same name at the Multicultural Arts Center, which will run through November 23. For hours, directions, and more information, call (617) 577-1400, or visit

If you are unable to join us this Thursday, I will be doing a
similar Bhutan slide lecture for the Boston Public Library next week, on Thursday, October 27, at 2:00pm, at the historic main library building at 700 Boylston Street in Copley Square.

You can find more information about the lectures and the exhibit at my website, www.dongurewitzphotography.com. And please visit my site periodically for new images and information about current and upcoming events and other news.
