Guitar Circle New England plays new music, both composed and improvised, born of the listening of the audience. It employs compositions ranging in influence from Bach to Bartok, King Crimson to Phillip Glass, and it explores both strategic and spontaneous improvisation. In its approach to the guitar, the Circle practices the principles of Guitar Craft, as founded by Robert Fripp. This approach has allowed the Circle to embody an undeniably creative force: Music.
